Another in a series of weathered materials. I left this panel outside on the deck for 3 weeks and the rusty nail vinegar combination made for some interesting colors.
A new direction for me based on an idea by brother Paul. This landscape was created using the elements and "found objects." Old rusty nails and cups of tea (poured over the piece) add to the color and texture, the wood is then left outside to the mercy of the elements. This piece was placed on the deck for 3 weeks.
